Coconut – One Admin Panel to Rule them all
Ok, I'm not going to get all Lord of the Rings on you { me wants it, me needs it...gollum...gollum } but apparently Fyorl and Ben are two obscure guys from somewhere building an Admin Panel that would make all us of do it yourself'ers lives easier.
They are self admittedly slow, teenagers these days, but they promise that one day they will get there.
What is Coconut?
When making websites for clients we realised that the admin panel took the longest time to build. So, we built Coconut, an admin-panel that would be able to handle practically anything.The creator of the site can create input forms and hook those up to their existing database, then allow the client to access Coconut to add/edit and delete items from the database using that structure.
Give me more, give me more!
11% done so far which is an accomplishment compared to their other project Conquest an MMORPG game that is only 1% done - the 1% being the name and logo.
The project looks promising and I hope I can be one of the beta testers. More screenshots on their site.
