India’s Answer to YouTube – Aapka Video

  • Posted under: Internet on February 28, 2007

“Aapka” means “Your” in Hindi so translated it would mean Your Video. With the population of online enthusiasts literally surging in India it was about time that developers in that country started capitalizing on that population.

You can upload, share and all the other stuff you would come to expect from video sharing sites. The mass appeal of this can go as far as the developers want to take it and I see a huge potential in it. Plus I don’t think you “need” to be an Indian to post videos up. So all you video enthusiasts got another channel now to spread your viral video’s on, check out AapkaVideo – Indian Videos.

Embedding is simple enough – look below. Upload size is limited to 100MB, many file types supported and yes tags are there as well. Categories at time of writing are General, Entertainment, Comedy, Sports, News & Blogs, Travel & Places and Techzone.
