This has to be one of the coolest "new" innovations of putting together good old programming code and user interaction that I have seen since I've been on the internet. (Video below)
Microsoft Photosynth is a Live Labs product and in one word it is simply amazing.
With Photosynth you can:
The menu has a zoom in and out feature, along with a way to see from which angle the photographer took the picture. The coolest thing I like is the similarity feature. Where all similar photos are arranged automatically in a grid like formation upon clicking on a particular snap. Clicking the share button opens up your default email application.
If you have Firefox you will be prompted to install the plugin, simply allow the site to do so and you're up and running. For IE users you will have to allow it to install the ActiveX plugin.
Min. System Requirements.
WinXP SP2/VistaRC1, IE6/7, FF1.5/2.0, 256MB RAM, 128MB Graphics Card.
EDIT: OOPS! I forgot to give an actual link to the site, silly me! Photosynth.
A preview of their service. This is what I call "Taking the Web Out of the Box"...sort of.

I completely agree with Ali’s enthusiasm about this product over at EverybodyGoTo. You simply have to try it out. [...]
