Gotta love stupid companies like these because it's things like this that brings them down and brings up new better companies.
Walmart introduced their Video Download service a week or so ago and people got all excited to see the movie studios opening up to video downloads and all, as Walmart apparently accounts for 40% of their yearly DVD sales.
Then everybody found out that the new video download site didn't support Firefox and a lot of FF users got just plain offended, me included. THE biggest retailer on earth cannot build a simple website that is compliant on all browsers. I think they can afford to hire some competent designers - or maybe they just don't care. Well guess what they just don't care.
Now you see an Unsupported Browser message when you try to access it via FF, Safari and Opera. It is sad, really really sad to see this in the year 2007.

It’s unfortunately not uncommon. At least at the beginning. After companies realise just how many people they’re leaving out in the cold they usually try to fix it. But who knows. Walmart isn’t easily influenced.
Just another reason to tack onto the list of reasons why I despise Wal-Mart.
