The low fare airline industry has been growing at substantial rates lately. One airline that I haven't heard of yet was flyMonarch and decided to do a review of them.
Operating mostly out of European cities flyMonarch is a UK registered flight provider that offers Cheap Flights. The prices seem to range from 14 GBP *current special on homepage (approx $28) to whatever is the maximum for next day flights which when I did a search came upto 102 GBP (approx $200) for one way trips. Which I think is pretty reasonable considering you can expect to pay double those amounts on other regular airlines for the extra chocolate and sandwich on board (which taste horrible anyway) the prices reflected showed up on a London to Lisbon example booking.
The internet is fast becoming the preferred way to search for flight travels and deals, travel agents need to quickly adapt to the industry or they face extinction. I have used low fare carriers in the past the only annoyance I have is the lowered baggage allowance which can be a hassle if you're connecting internationally. But for travel within the EU flyMonarch.com sounds like a good deal to me.
So the next time you plan to attend a web 2.0 conference or the next technology exhibition in Europe look them up for flight deals to wizz between cities or for a quick getaway, you never know what you're gonna get.
