Design that makes sense

So rummaging through binary junk I fell upon this site called Cocolico.info (no affiliation to rapper coolio here) and though for the .info TLD which so far has only sprung up on the internet as a favorite for MFA (Made For Adsense) sites this one was refreshingly different.

So what is it about?

Cocolico is a design magazine, with an insane preference for crazy, smart ideas that won’t spoil the environment. There, you will meet some products, sometimes internationally acclaimed, that could land one day in your home. They also report innovative and environmental friendly concepts.

Like this dress for instance.

Susan Stockwell is the designer for this piece of art and clothing. She created costumes, dresses or textiles made of domestic and industrial disposable products that pervade our everyday lives.

The site has various categories which include design, buildings, cars to solar, recycled, shelvings and transports. Though I quite don’t see the need for the ‘beta’ tag in their logo. Still who am I to complain.

Their other project is called playgreen.org and is supposed to be a wiki focused on sustainable development.

I think the environment needs more attention now than it ever does. So I propose that all employers must give their employees…wait I’ll put that thought into my next open source ideas post.

Everybody Go To Cocolico
