MyBlogLog acquired by Yahoo

Yahoo has bought MyBlogLog reports readwriteweb for an estimated $10 - $12 Million Dollars.

You see that thing on my sidebar that shows a bunch of faces of the readers that come by here who themselves are registered with MyBlogLog.

The thing is addictive and you find yourself finding other bloggers who never knew existed and signing up for their feed or just reading a bit about them and adding them as a contact.

Its fun and I imagine Yahoo to somehow integrate it into del.icio.us and flickr. If not they might just leave it as it is and let it grow. I wouldn't be surprised though if in the future you start seeing ads on your blogger reader badge. So the more readers you have and people in your community the more lucrative you may seem to potential advertisers.

Join my community and add me as a contact.

I’ve seen posts on other sites where people have complained of mybloglog slowing down their page loads. I don’t notice anything on this site, however.

I just hope that MyBlogLog stays as great as it is today, it would be a shame to ruin it!
