Dot Com Mogul – ish

There comes a time in life when people become role models for others around through a series of events that earns them a title among peers and associates alike. John Chow dot Com is above all those people as he is what everybody dreams of becoming in life now which is a dot Com Mogul and best of all he has honestly self titled himself as just that.

That’s the first thing that hits me when I visit his blog – is his honesty. He doesn’t play around with your minds in his posts or post wayward stuff for you to figure out, he writes it like it is. He runs his own online tech sites apart from his blog, from where I’m assuming the dot Com Mogul title comes, and in a little over a year of running his blog he averages around hundreds of thousands of unique visitors a month. Quite an accomplishment I would say. The key being good content overall that the search engines just slurp up along with the power of social networks.

Edit: In the spirit of John linking to my blog via his, which is really nice, I want to say a few more things about his psyche on blogging while incorporating his everyday life into it as well. From reading about his posts to sign up with Agloco to how make more money with Adsense optimization to his dinner outings – versatility and truthfulness is what sets him apart and he does it in the true nature of blogging, which is just being yourself (with a rad looking car of course). I commend him for the work he has put into his business and his blog that he cares to share everything with anybody wandering by. So I hope that too someday I can achieve his level of success after he has gone onto a higher one and hopefully by then I can stop writing PayPerPost. ;-)

He talks about more, by the way this post is sponsored, on how to make money online and the different methods he has used to increase revenue on his blog. It’s an interesting read if you have the time to take a look at it. I tried to find something, anything that annoyed me about his blog and I did manage to find something which were those pesky banana icons dancing with hearts around them look below – know what I mean now!
