Apple has been introducing new products as fast as they can say “New Intel Chips”. The Latest is the All New MacBook.

MacBook

What do you get when you put up to 2GHz of pure Intel Core Duo power, an iSight camera, Front Row, iLife ’06, and a 13-inch glossy widescreen display into a sleek case? More than you thought possible for less than you thought possible. Meet MacBook, starting at $1099.

Apple is touting it as a do everything out of the box kind of Laptop. So what’s so great about it?

Well it comes in 2 colors , bright white and sleek black. And now for the more interesting stuff - The Specs can be summed up like this, I’ve left out stuff like battery specs and boring regular ‘expected’ stuff like backup cd’s and cables.

Apple says that the MacBook is upto 5X faster than the iBook G4. The Intel Core Duo chip basically packs the power of two processors into one chip. It’s the first power-efficient Intel chip born of the new 65-nanometer process, which allows for the creation of transistors so small, you could fit a hundred inside a single human cell, crazy man!

So basically expect your software to…just work once you boot this baby up.

Front Row

The Apple Remote makes it as easy to navigate through all the cool stuff on your computer as it is to navigate the songs in your iPod with simple and effective navigation.

Enjoy your music, photos and videos from across the room and even across the house with the Front Row media experience and Apple Remote. Intuitive Apple hardware and software make it easy to put on a show. Enjoy legal music from the iTunes Music Store with Front Row.

iSight

If you’re the kind to carry a digital camera everywhere you go, you and MacBook will really click. MacBook carries a camera around too: a built-in iSight camera, perfect for video chatting, making an impromptu movie, or snapping silly mugshots. This is more fun to see that talk about, and with the integration of iLife ‘06 it just gets even better.

iLife ’06 makes the built-in iSight even more astounding. You can record a short clip right inside iMovie HD. Email it to family. Introduce your DVD. Or use iWeb to create a video blog entry or a podcast.

iLife ‘06

Share photos in a whole new way

The easiest way to import, organize, edit and share your digital photos, one-click iWeb publishing and custom calendars and cards.

iMovie

Create Hollywood-style movies using full-screen editing, new audio tools and real-time Core Video effects, then share them online with one-click iWeb publishing. You can also create stunning DVDs.

Record your next big hit

Podcasting in GarageBand 3 puts you in the control room of your own full-featured radio station. And new iWeb integration gets your voice on the Internet in minutes.

Put your life on the web

Use iWeb to create websites and blogs — complete with podcasts, photos and movies — and get them online. Just drag, drop and design, then publish live to your .Mac homepage.

So all in all I think it’s a great purchase to make. Apple is the market leader when it comes to innovative products and always outdoing themselves in the markets they penetrate.

Defintely a worthwhile purchase. Click to buy below and find out even more about the Apple MacBook.
